Letter from our students – Chapter 2

Hi guys! I wanna share with you my journey of Turkey and of course the Turkish Language. I came to İstanbul from a small country .It’s called Mauritania, located in Africa. My purpose to come to istanbul was getting educated from a good university. After i came to  istabul i did a really deep research for  the best universities in istanbul. and i choose Boğaziçi university.  But the thing is, if a foreign student would like to study in istanbul you must  get at least  70 points from the Turkish proficiency test of the university. Which makes B1 i guess.

So i started to look for some serious  Turkish Language Courses. But the courses i found didn’t have the intensity i was looking for because  i needed to get some very intensive courses until the registration date of the university. So i searched on google for some  Private Turkish Lessons to buy some time. There are so many websites for private Turkish lessons on internet and most of them are spam websites. By the time i didn’ t know that theye were spam so  I sent several emails to those websites to get some information but nothing logical came up.  It was a really bad  surprise for me because i didn’t expect that much.

Finally i found Ada Turkish Language Center and after some research about it i decided to give it a shot. They were so clear when they were explaining me their course types, time schedules, subjects etc. After that i spoke with my family and theytold me to try it.. After ı met my teacher all my doubts were gone. Because she was so experienced, sweat andof course a patient lady. After 3 months thanks to her i was able to speak Turkish in B1 level and i got 78  points from my  Turkish proficiency test.

Çok teşekkürler hocam. Kolay gelsin (:
