Hello Turkey! It is really good to be here. I would like to tell my journey with the Turkish language education all the way from Africa. I’m a big football fan and i was watching the Turkish league since i was a little boy. I always wanted to go to Turkey and play in Beşiktaş team because of the attitude of Çarşı. Anyway one day we were playing football on our backyard and a guy came to and said that he was watching me for 20 minutes and he liked the way i play. Than he offered me a scholarship in Istanbul so I can study and play football in his team. I was so happy at the moment and accepted his offer.
That night I spoke with my family and after a huge conversation they decided that this will be the best choice for me and after 2 weeks we started to arrange my papers for the university, visa process, education fees bla bla. After a long flight i made it to Istanbul, my dream city.
Of course i had no idea about the Turkish language and i needed to find some courses so that i can study in Turkey and stay in the team. I had some friends from Africa and they told me suggested me Ada Türkçe Eğitim Merkezi. First I thought that there is no way this Turkish Teacher they gave me can handle the football terms and the intensive Private Lessons. But she was really professional and knew a lot of things about the Football terms and the tactics. After 3 months I was able to speak b1 level of Turkish and now it’s been 5 months . My Turkish is poetic.
